Ronaldo's Sister Says He's Staying

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister has thrown yet another spanner in the works regarding her brother’s ongoing transfer saga, claiming he is intent on remaining with Manchester United…

Elma Aveiro is just the latest among Ronaldo’s family and friends to air their inside knowledge on the Portuguese winger’s potential move to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo’s godfather proclaimed in May that the 23-year-old was destined for the Santiago Bernabeu, but a week later the player’s mother suggested her son was completely satisfied with life in north-west England.

And the Seleccao superstar’s sister has side with the latter, saying in The Sun: "Cristiano wants to keep playing at Manchester United. Real Madrid keep making very strong advances for him.

"There is a lot of speculation in the newspapers all the time about where he will go and what he is doing but we know who he really is and what he is really up to. He wants to stay at United."
